ANY OTHERS HAVE SIMILAR ISSUES. COULD BE MY 360 OR, COULD BE THE CONSOLE. THE BIGGEST PROBLEM I HAVE HAD WITH THE GAME IS GAME FREEZES. I HAVE AN XOBX 360 AND IT SEEMS YEAR AFTER YEAR THE GAME LOCKS UP FROM TIME TO TIME.
Even though they come out with a new one each year, I recommend getting them all. This game is even better than the other(PERIOD). Next year maybe too but this game for college football fans is the only one to get.
I used ncaastrategies.com. Working a little each week on recruitment in dynasty mode is a nice change from the draft in Madden, and makes for a shorter off-season. You'll definitely want to download rosters (for free) from one of the many websites offering them instead of looking at QB #5, etc. I've played Madden for years, but bought NCAA Football for the first time this year. You can also download playbooks for each team from the EA website. As a newcomer to the series, however, I have been very pleased and have only encountered very minor glitches. I'm sure that other reviewers are correct in complaining that the minimal changes from year to year aren't worth buying the game annually, since that has certainly been true of Madden. I love the quiz-the-quarterback feature, because it rewards learning to read coverages.
Thanks. Great product and has consumed way to much of my time. Had everything included and in great condition, no scratches.
While the tests are easy enough, if you don't know the answers and you don't maintain your GPA you will have to start your football game over again. Not sure how much fun this would be for someone who just wants to sit there and play video football non-stop all day and not have to think about anything the entire time. It's funny to listen to them answering the questions and trying to remember what they had learned previously in a class.
The only drawback is that it is so much fun.they don't want to stop playing it. The game requires that they maintain a certain GPA. I purchased this game for two boys who have really enjoyed this game.
And they compete in the football part as well as the GPA part. It's No Pass, No Play in a video game. As part of the game, they had to choose a major and then take exams.
Which I thought they would hate, but they actually love it.
